Hemophilia Society of Bangladesh (HSB) is a voluntary organization for the persons with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders in Bangladesh. Some hemophiliacs and family members formed HSB on 18 March 1994 at a meeting at National Shaheed Minar in Dhaka. The first President of the society was Mr. Muhammad Habibullah who himself was a hemophiliac. The basic aim of the HSB is to help the persons with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders in Bangladesh. The major objective of the society is to establish a comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) in Dhaka.
HSB was registered (Regd no. DHA-03359) as a charity with the depertment of social welfare in 1994. It became the National Member Organization (NMO) of the world Federation of Hemophilia (WFH).
